KAILEY BROWN
I am Kailey Brown and I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 11 years, license #32451. I studied at the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute and never stopped taking continuing education. I focused on trigger point therapy with an emphasis on treating headaches and the neck and shoulders. In my seven years working at an acupuncture clinic, I picked up many modalities such as cupping therapy, and learned about the effectiveness of red light therapy. I have education in vagus nerve stimulation, which helps decrease anxiety and help get the body out of fight or flight.
WORKING WITH BABIES
Four years ago I learned more than I could have ever anticipated when I became a mother. This lead me to my passion of working on infants. Position in utero, birth process, oral restrictions and cranial nerve dysfunction can cause issues with feeding, symptoms of colic, and issues with growth. Gentle craniosacral techniques and effective stretches can help ease tension and make babies more comfortable in their body. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a baby and the effect that has on the whole family. All babies can benefit from bodywork. Babies who receive body work often experience better digestion, improved feeding on breast or bottle, improved sleep, and often hit milestones early. It is extremely important and beneficial before and after tongue tie procedures.
